Abstract:

The last decades have brought in attention environmental changes such as resource exhaustion and pollution that are able to influence both the wellbeing of society and the safety of its future. Sustainable businesses are better and better outlined in the world economy, their promotion and development becoming a flagship feature for many companies. Sustainability represents a major concern for a growing number of enterprises, their group includes performing, renown, and multinational companies from a diversified spectrum of sectors from communication to mineral resource exploration.

In this context, we are trying to identify sustainable policy options and key instruments that can drive the global economy to act both at macroeconomic and microeconomic level in the direction of increasing economic competitiveness, taking into account environmental and social restrictions seen from a global perspective.
