Strategic Management of Modern Family Businesses on the Example of Poland

Abstract:

In all economies of the world, family businesses are an important component of economic and social systems. Due to the fact that they are the driving force of the development, it was decided to study more closely the issues related to strategic management in Polish family businesses The research intention of the article was to identify the forms of strategies applied by Polish family businesses and to determine priorities and factors taken into account when building it. The objective of the research is also an attempt to find the response to the question whether the selection of the appropriate strategic option is reflected in the accomplishment of the assumed strategic objectives.
