Strategic Management of the Child Protection Act of Persecution: Cases in Indonesia

Abstract:

Act of persecution committed against minorities, especially in children, has been increasing. Indonesian Child Protection Commission or called KPAI denounced the persecution of teenagers who were in Cipinang, East Jakarta in 2018. Everyone is prohibited from engaging in violence against children, including against children in conflict with the law though. Persecution may also negatively affect the psychological condition of the victims were adults. Only, in children, the trend of more significant damage can occur. Discrimination received by the victim, for example, is giving to the citizens ban certain breeds from getting a job. Psychological disorders suffered by victims that include a process of intimidation and other actions that resulted in a person's mental disorder of such persecution. This research method is done with literature and legal policy studies from various government regulations in Indonesia. The results showed that persecution hurts the future of the child. Received absolute legal protection for many conditions make children at risk if you get the wrong information.
