Strategy for the Regional Long-Term Development

Abstract:

The strategy for the regional long-term development depends on the methodology, which implies the use of various forms and methods for its implementation. Positive development of the region can be based on the method of indicative planning which means minimizing the uncertainty factor in decision-making, minimizing the risk and increasing the stability in the economic system. The concept of indicative planning (or its elements) in the paradigm of sustainable social and economic development of the region is fundamental for Strategy 2035. The main goal of the study is to determine the best way for the development of the region. The results: we analyzed how the method of indicative planning can work within the region and proposed to integrate it into the Strategy of social and economic development of the region. Field of application: the results of  the social and economic development of the region can be used to successfully implement Strategy 2035. Practical significance: the results gained thanks to the study of indicative economics can positively influence the implementation of Strategy 2035 in the region.
