Abstract:

The aim of this article is to present encryption keys used in asymmetric cryptographic systems in comparison with characteristic magnitudes from other fields of science, such as physics and biotechnology. Comparing these figures with certain physical quantities provides an impression of the scale of keys used in cryptography.
