Abstract:

This paper is trying to present the absorption of structural funds in Romania vs Central Eastern European countries. The methodology that we used combines quantitative methods with qualitative research. It was made a detailed presentation on the amounts allocated, contracted and paid in Romania and Central-Eastern European states. We also addressed issues related to the perception of beneficiaries on the absorption of structural funds, problems, recommendations, and expectations.
