Abstract:

Regarding to today’s business, corporate governance and Information Technology (IT) are crucial factors to support all business modules. It especially endorses strategies, policies, ideas, and regulations effectively. In order to these critical points, corporate and IT governances are led as important topics in most business meeting agendas. Board of directors and top management draw attention in both of governances intensely with multidimensional business purposes of meeting organisational strategies and achieving business objectives. Moreover, it is compulsory to have business value delivery and risk mitigation by following IT processes. IT processes are essential aspects to carry on IT governance implementation. The extant literature has described the dynamic role of business and IT that direct and manage organisations. It also illustrates and cooperates impeccably to keep away from problems and mitigate risks. However, there are various IT governance frameworks available that provide guidance for managing and increasing business value. Moreover, the remaining processes of IT are varied and complex which have an effect on IT governance frameworks in achieving IT-business alignment. This will be investigated through the connections between business and IT, as well as techniques to integrate the diverse task of each area, aligning business and IT strategies to support business effectively.
