Abstract:

Structural changes in the labor market are the main factor of changes in the modern economy. The major demographic factors are the population ageing and the increase in the working age. Structural analysis of the working-age population allows determining the trends of the labor market. The study of female labor, its place and importance in the economy of the country is a topical problem disclosed in the article. Based on the analysis of statistical data of demographic changes in the labor market of the Russian Federation, the forecast of the use of labor potential of the population is made. The reason of using of female labor in the senior group of the working-age population is given.  The psychological characteristics of female and male models of behavior are described and the optimal areas of their application in professional activities are presented.
