Study of the Effects of Mobile Phone Radiation on Human Tissue Using Infrared Thermography

Abstract:

Paper aims to develop an effective method of objectifying the effects produced by the electromagnetic radiation of the mobile phone on living human tissues. The research hypothesis was that radiation caused by the use of mobile telephone is not harmless and causes various effects on the human body, some immediately visible, others with long-term impact. First part of the paper presents the main short and long term problems that this type of radiation can have. There were presented and described, using the operating parameters of the phone, the specific examination conditions and the experimental plan. Results were presented according to their relevance, respectively regimes and duration of operation, showing the objective effects it induces in human tissue. These were highlighted by visualizing of the immediate thermal effects of mobile phone radiation on the human user. In addition, the simulation showed that these effects are not only superficial but also have an impact on the brain at depths distribution of the thermal field in the area of incidence of the waves with the skin on the human scalp. In order to predict the profound effects of the temperature observed outside, the penetration that the thermal field can have through its three components encountered in its propagation was simulated with specialized software: epithelial tissue (skin), bone (skull box) and brain. It can be stated that the technique and experimental method used allow, with a very high degree of confidence, the highlighting of up to 7-8 mm.
