Study on Career’s Equality among Disabled Workers in Indonesia: The Effect on Affective Commitment and Misbehavior

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to discuss career justice for disable workers on Indonesia’s companies. Empirically this study examined the influence of career justice, from all four types: distributive, procedural, interpersonal dan informational jutice, on affective commitment and organizational misbehavior. Study on disabled workers are rarely done in Indonesia especially when connected to misbehavior. Nine hypothesis are examined through 92 questions in the distributed questionaires. 104 from 107 questionaires were returned in this study.Data were processed using Structural Equation Model and the findings show that only interpersonal justice which has positive influence to affective commitment towards diabled workers. This fact shows that social aspect of justice has important role in explaining affectif commitment of disabled workers. Generally, organizational justice has relatively small influence to affective commitment and misbehavior among disabled workers. Only interpersonal justice demonstrates strong role to affective commitment. Also, affective comitmenthas significant role as mediating variable in this model.
