Study On Development Of An Experimental Model Of Integrated Regional Cluster, As Support For Increasing The Competitiveness Of Romanian Enterprises With Agro-Industrial Profile

Abstract:

The economic chain formed as a cluster, supported and promoted by this study, is based on a new conception of the capitalization of agricultural production at a regional level. In this view "the agricultural farm" is not seen anymore as the basic link of the agro-industrial chain, but the "essential link" without which "the chain" cannot serve as economic and social organization. The basic link in our view is "the consumer" and in order to meet its requirements and options, the commercial enterprises must come in a more effective way. The cluster proposed by this study must produce “what is required” and “how much is required”. This experimental model of agro-industrial chain highlights the cluster size (size, dimension and production capacity of goods), its chain links and the value added by this cluster. The overall objective of the "network enterprises" which constitute this agro-industrial cluster is to help its members to achieve increased production capacity and to be more profitable. For example it is proposed that a cluster model for enhancing grain production, which is integrated at regional level.
