Support of Bioeconomy Entrepreneurship by Park Institutions in Poland (Based on the Example of the Lubelskie and Podlaskie Voivodships)

Abstract:

The article attempts to construct a model of support for bioeconomy entrepreneurship within park institutions, as an innovative tool that strengthens cooperation of institutions and entrepreneurs. Within the model, directions and forms of the support provided for bioeconomy enterprises by parks, various institutions located in parks, as well as by other park tenants were presented. The model was developed on the basis of qualitative research carried out in park institutions operating in two Polish voivodships, i.e. Lubelskie and Podlaskie. It can be a universal tool for designing, building and developing a system of support for bioeconomy entrepreneurship. It is particularly important in peripheral regions, with a relatively lower level of socio-economic development.
