Survey on the Popularity of Zero-waste IT Solutions in Poland

Abstract:

The publication discusses the survey results on the knowledge and popularity of various IT solutions to avoid food waste. The survey was carried out on a sample of 300 inhabitants of the Małopolskie Voivodeship in Poland. The results show that many of them have never been interested in the possibilities offered by modern technology in this area, but there is a group of people who use them regularly. Some respondents knew individual applications but did not use them due to the lack of time and their excessive time consumption. Statistically, however, the research confirmed the usefulness of the analyzed applications and websites; some are popular and regularly used.
