The aim of the paper is to discuss possibilities, how to evaluate sustainable portfolio, based on own research activity, using Community Performance Evaluation, BCG matrix. These analytical tools were applied on NGO sector, graphically illustrating their financial sources. Based on the application and discovered advantages and disadvantages, the work contains proposals to improve the use of matrix to its higher explanatory power and to get alternative financial sources.
