Sustainable Human Resource Management as An Element of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy in Innovative Enterprises – The Economic, Social and Environmental Depiction

Abstract:

The aim of the article is to present the nature of the strategy of corporate social responsibility in innovative enterprises and the concept of sustainable human resources management, indicating their connections in economic, social and environmentalterms and  an attempt to answer the question whether innovative enterprises actually show CSR and sustainable human resources management in business management as an element of their innovation. That is why  the following hypothesis was put forward in the study: the strategy of corporate social responsibility and the concept of sustainable human resources management are very important for increasing the innovativeness of the enterprise, because they influence economically, socially and environmentally the building of competitive advantage of the organisation. The verification of the hypothesis and the realisation of the stated goal was made on the basis of a critical analysis of the source literature and the case study. Striving to achieve the research goal, the first part of the article presents the strategy of corporate social responsibility  in innovative enterprises and the essence of sustainable human resources management and their linkage in an economic, social and environmental depiction.  In the second part the case study was presented using primary research. The publication was completed with applications in which the hypothesis was confirmed. Because the undertaken issue is extensive and multithreaded, the article focuses on the presentation of the most important problems. They can be the basis for further discussion regarding various aspects of sustainable human resources management in organisations, e.g. in EU and the Poland.
