Abstract:
Knowledge Repository (KR) is becoming one of the widespread efforts used by organizations as to unify, share and apply their organizational knowledge asset. Very often organizational knowledge assets are scattered and unnoticed, therefore as one of the KM tools, KR helps organizations to capture and preserve their knowledge assets into a one stop center which enable employees to use and reuse them in the future. The nature of KR which requires the activity of capturing, packaging and storing, updating, disseminating the relevant knowledge for the utilization of the employees will later contribute in a continuous process of knowledge creation that enhance sustainability of KR. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the elements that help the sustainability of KR establishment based on the data generated from a pilot study at one of the Malaysian Public Sector.
