Tax Systems Changes in V4 Countries during Financial Crisis

Abstract:

Recent financial crisis is the worst since 1929 Great Depression. The aim of this paper is to identify changes to tax systems in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia and its role in combating financial crisis. The Visegrad countries have been hit differently by the crisis depending mostly on the different macroeconomical and fiscal situation. The paper discusses changes in taxation since the last financial crisis and present difference among taxation in V4 countries.
