Abstract:

Changing social and historical realities require actualization of approaches in training of highly qualified specialists. Thanks to the Erasmus + Jean Monnet programme at the Mari State University, the Module “The European Union as a Model of Globalization: Experience, Values, Perspectives” since 2016 has been taught. The course provides knowledge about the united Europe, common values, advantages for citizens, the role of the European Union in the world community and highlights the benefits of cooperation in the modern global world.
