Abstract:
ICT gain more and more importance within organizations in order to meet the changing environment. Although these technologies are introduced in organizations for several years, research has shown that ICT use is accompanied with firm performance. They help develop a capacity for innovation to more easily obtain pertinent results, offer new products to meet the needs of their customers and increase business productivity. In Tunisia, Companies were not fully aware of the importance of the valorization of ICT in improving their performance. This is one of the major problems faced. In this sense, Reix (2002) pointed out that the question of the impact of these technologies on the performance is still raised. Hence, the need to analyze the impact of ICT on business performance. We carried out this research on a sample of 75 Tunisian companies operating in different sectors. The empirical testing of the hypotheses of this research has led us to partially confirm the influence of ICT on the performance of Tunisian companies. In this sense, they must be more aware of the usefulness of ICT for their performance.
