Territory’s Innovative Ecosystem: Alignment of Interests and Actors’ Coordination Models in Creating Innovative Value Process in the Digital Environment

Abstract:

The continuity of the innovation process is considered as a benchmark for the effectiveness of interactions between the actors of the innovation ecosystem of the territory in the process of creating shared value. The concept of transfer gaps is introduced to identify threats to the continuity violation. Two enlarged directions of their assessment are proposed: technological gap and managerial gap. For each direction the key evaluation aspects are defined and special scales are developed. The basis for the formation of coordination models of interrelated, but relatively independent and significantly different in functions and roles actors of the innovation ecosystem is the harmonization of their interests. The matrix of interests and risks of actors of the innovation ecosystem of the territory at all stages of technology transfer is constructed. Possible variants of ecosystem interactions to overcome transfer gaps are identified. A digital platform was considered as the core of the mechanism of ecosystem interactions. The landscape of services of the digital platform of technology transfer was formed. Promising directions in the field of ecosystem cooperation orchestration are identified: hybrid orchestration, multi-orchestration, layering governance. A framework for the formation of coordination models of actors in the innovation ecosystem of the territory, integrating key components and methods of organizing ecosystem interactions, is built.
