Terrorism Risk and Field Employees’ Production Deviance

Abstract:

The study aimed to investigate the effect of the perceived threat of terrorism on the production deviance among salespeople traveling and working outdoors in terrorism affected regions in Pakistan. Data was gathered from 432 pharmaceutical sale representatives operating in a high terrorism affected province named Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hierarchical regression revealed that perceived threat of terrorism has a significant positive effect on sales personnel production deviance. Implications of the research were discussed
