The Ability of Opportunity Recognition to Choose an Entrepreneurship as a Career on Migrant Return, which Influenced by Internal locus of Control, Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation, and Entrepreneurial Intention

Abstract:

Entrepreneurship is the one of the key factors to economic development around the world, especially in the growth country like Indonesia. Indonesian government has a target to increase entrepreneurship to 4% ratio to increase economic development in Indonesia. One of the most potential targets to develop to become entrepreneurship as a career is migrant return. Migrant workers are one of the largest suppliers of income for Indonesia. Migrant workers who return to Indonesia have great potential to develop because Migrant workers during work has set aside part of his salary for savings. To maximize it, one of that way is being an entrepreneur. This study aims to see how the influence factors of attributes to the decision to entrepreneurship as a career on migrant return. The attribute are internal locus of control, entrepreneurial intentions, and individual entrepreneurship orientation. The findings of this study are internal locus of control, individual entrepreneurial orientation, with mediated by entrepreneurial intention affect migrant return decision to seek and recognize an opportunity to entrepreneurship in migrants return.
