Abstract:

Currently many financial institutions declare their socially and eco-friendly attitude. The environmentally and socially responsible approach is manifested not only in the internal management strategies, but also in the commitment in financing of environmentally friendly investments. This engagement can be observed in modern banks, as the public trust entities. There are some indices or rankings that may be used to verify the socially and environmentally attitudes and the commitment of individual banks, both European and global scale.
