Abstract:

The relevance of this article is due to the fact that modern technogenic civilization is experiencing in its development a critical stage, characterized not only by the change of technological order, but also by transformation of components from all society spheres, accompanied by phenomenon of globalization. The article deals with evolution of social management paradigm in context of technogenic civilization idea change. The classical paradigm of social management based on mechanistic scientific world picture and bureaucracy that is ineffective in social realities of postindustrial society was replaced by a new paradigm that emphasizes decentralization, role of cultural and socio-psychological factors in process of social management. It is concluded that it is necessary to correct social management methods in modern Russian society as part of the global world community.
