Abstract:

The purpose of the article is to show the possibilities of reducing master data in the production process and improving their quality on the example of SAP software: S4HANA. The created model was implemented in a large production company and allowed for a significant improvement in the efficiency of managing the master data used in production planning.

The author presents the possibility of a significant reduction in the labor consumption of creating and managing the basic data of semi-finished products, routings and bill of materials. Thanks to the use the object dependency, and production planning based on product characteristics, the number of data has been reduced many times.
