Abstract:
The decisions about purchasing a technical object' are usually made based on the investment cost criterion, i.e. its price. Technical objects are characterized by a long lifetime?, which requires taking into account the total costs incurred for the object maintenance during its lifetime, which include: acquisition costs, exploitation costs and decommissioning costs [7],[9]. Therefore, it is important that the decisions about purchasing technical objects are preceded by an economic calculation based on which a decision-maker can obtain information whether a given investment in an object purchase is effective (profitable) or not.
