The concept of using the VR system in the prototyping process of unmanned vehicle control systems

Abstract:

This paper presents a design concept for a rapid prototyping platform for unmanned vehicle control systems. While developing the concept not only the problems of controlling a singular object were taken into account, but also the possibility of cooperation between multiple of them. The developed concept allows to carry out typical software tests, as well as simulate its operation in a virtual environment. This is possible by attaching virtual sensors and effectors. An important feature of the platform is the possibility to include hardware components of the prototyped system in the simulation loop.
