The continuous vocational education training of human capital: A condition for performance in emerging economies

Abstract:

Despite increased attention to the studies considering the performance of the firms in emerging economies (including Romania), the studies which include the human capital impact on their economic growth are still rare. Furthermore, it is important to note that the relationship between human capital and business growth is particularly relevant in emerging economies, because they are characterized by rapid technological and economic growth, which could not take place without the contribution of human capital. Both in the public institutions and the private sector, human resource management establishes a set of procedures: staff recruitment and selection, motivation and job description, development and evaluation of staff, career development. All these issues are directly related to the continuous training of employees.
