Abstract:

Policing football matches in London cost the Metropolitan Police Service nearly £6.7m during the 2016/17 season. German police reduced their presence at Bundesliga matches in a growing row over who should foot the €50 million annual bill for football security. The aim of the research paper is to identify whether there are a full cost policing services in Latvia or as it is in almost all European countries, the provided special police services are not covered fully by the public event organizer. Moreover, it is highly important to identify, possible solutions in order to reduce these costs in case not all services provided are being covered by the public event organiser in the Republic of Latvia
