Abstract:

This paper deals with brief assessment of current load control process in aviation sector, evaluate its strengths and weaknesses and offer alternative approach. Load Control is mandatory process in commercial aviation with high costs. Centralization of such process would possess several advantages for the airline, airports as well as for load control service providers. Together with optimization of cots, centralization also offers possibility to establish a new business model based on outsourcing and offshoring of such centralized load control center for its providers.
