Abstract:

The present paper aims to analyze the main fields of use of the Romanian coal (by types) whose characteristics define their definitive imprint on establishing the strategic objectives of the exploitation of the coal resources in Romania. The satisfaction of the users’ internal resource requirements, the efficiency of the use of coal resources in different fields, as well as the perspectives of the branch will also be analyzed.
