Abstract:
In the latest years, there is an effervescence in this sector - agriculture is a main topic of interest in Romania. Since the integration into the European Union and the infusion of funds that contribute to the increasing of the importance and attractiveness of agriculture as an economic branch in Romania, more and more young people (especially those from rural areas whose families own lands) are oriented towards specialty qualifications / faculties .
We aim to investigate the need for professional training in Romania, or rather the demand for replacement of the new generation of farmers, given that the number of farm managers over 65 is over 10% higher than the European average . Moreover, there is pressure from the business environment requiring skilled labor force, but also the need for economic growth and development, which we believe that it will train future entrepreneurs, agricultural specialists , in order to reduce urban-rural disparities.
