Abstract:

While existing literature on leadership articulates the importance of style leadership. There has been little attention to the potential roles of more specific style. Style is the key to leaders in times of crisis. The current paper examined the determinant of style in crisis situation. In particular, we examined how the experience and confidence influences the style of leadership and the degree of effectiveness. Result revealed that a leader has an experience and confidence can choice her style. We found also the positive relationship between style and effectiveness in crisis situation. Furthermore, the good choices of style in time crisis affect the effectiveness of leader.
