Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to consider the features of the development of socially oriented non-profit organizations at the regional level and to determine the main directions of support and development of socially oriented non-profit organizations in the Russian Federation. The researchers paid special attention to the problems of legislation and legal support for the activities of non-profit organizations. The main conclusions of this study are based on the key theoretical principles and practical directions of the activities of socially oriented non-profit organizations (establishing, functioning, development). The authors analyzed the activities of one of the largest and most efficient regional socially oriented non-profit organizations. The researchers carried out the SWOT analysis to study the methods of state support for regional non-profit organizations and the effectiveness of cooperation with the philanthropic sector. Based on the study, the authors proposed the ways of development of the non-profit sector and socially oriented non-profit organizations.
