Abstract:
The article is an endeavour to analyse the influence of digital economy over distribution. The analysis was performed through a study seeking to highlight the attempts made in respect of adopting digital retail solutions for products in the Romanian garments industry and future prospects in this field. The paper underlines the necessity of knowing and acknowledging the advantages of selling products in retail formats adapted to the digital economy, in terms of attracting and maintaining the fidelity of significant, profitable client segments, and in terms of ensuring an increase in sales.
