The Economic Rationale for the Effectiveness of Using Agricultural Practices in Nursery Breeding, When Laying and Caring for Hop Plantations

Abstract:

The analysis of the economic efficiency of various agricultural practices (application of herbicides in the nursery when growing hop seedlings by green cuttings, planting of new plantings with various types of planting materials and using setting up as crop supports in the first year) in the conditions of the Chuvash Republic. Various doses of herbicides were used when growing planting material at certain times in order to exclude the phytotoxic effect on young shoots of green hop cuttings. According to the results of the study, the high efficiency of the use of herbicides in plantings was established, which eliminated manual weeding and significantly reduced labor costs per 1 hectar. The survival rate of stem cuttings and annual seedlings depended on the timing of planting, the type of planting material and weather conditions. On the hop of 1 year of laying with traditional technology, production costs are 620 people / hour, and when using crops as supports, they are reduced to 36 people / hour. With a yield of more than 2 kg / ha due to increased costs for mechanized and manual work; cleaning; for the purchase of twine, wire and protective equipment, growing hops becomes unprofitable. The differences in costs, with a certain productivity, are caused by additional expenses for harvesting. As productivity increases, profits increase to 61.5 thousand rubles. The use of crops as a supporting material is a profitable technological technique, since the costs of mechanized and equestrian work are reduced to 3.3 thousand rubles, and for the purchase of materials and protective equipment up to 10 thousand rubles.
