Abstract:

This work is articulated in the context of our research which is big data and mental health, we will talk about big data, its chronology, its characteristics and its relationship with business intelligence, then we will present the relationship between big data and mental health and finally a literature review on nomophobia one of the mental health disorders. We are also interested in this work, to introduce machine learning, its different algorithms, its applications as well as its relationship with big data, and finally part of this chapter is devoted to the use of supervised learning methods for classification of the state of nomophobia in students. The main objective of our project is to study the psychology of university students and to know their nomophobia state which has consequences on the physical and psychological health of the individual. In general, the recommendations we will work on involve activating the program and rendering it in the form of an information system that will always be accompanied by its owner. The system will be converted into an application which will be downloaded to a smartphone. It will also be equipped with information and tests which will be accessible offline without the presence of the Internet.
