The Effect of Family-Work and Work-Family Conflicts on Performance (A Study on the Employees of PT. Intimulya Multikencana)

Abstract:

This research discussed the effect of family-work and work-family conflicts on the performance. This study employed family-work and work-family conflicts as independent variables, and employee performance as dependent variable. Primary data in this research was obtained from the questionnaire distributed to selected respondents consisting of 88 employees of PT. Intimulya Multikencana who have gotten married. Data analysis was conducted using Path Analysis with SPSS program help. The result of research showed that family-work and work-family conflicts affect the employee performance negatively, so that the higher the family-work and work-family conflicts occurring among the employees, the lower is the employee performance.
