The Effect of Foreign aid and Vocational Training on Poverty Reduction Strategy: An Empirical Evidence from Chad Republic

Abstract:

The issues of poverty have become a serious concern worldwide especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. Although the number of the of the extremely poor people decreased and therefore this is a great success towards poverty reduction over the recent years. However, one of the greater challenges facing the humanity nowadays is still poverty. Thus, this study examines the mediation effect of the vocational training on the relationship between foreign aid and poverty reduction strategy in the republic of Chad. The Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the hypotheses of this study. The results found that poverty reduction highly influences by foreign aid and vocational training.
