The Effect of Work Environment on Job Satisfaction with Organizational Culture as Mediating Variable in the Employees of Telkom Solo

Abstract:

The problem statement of research was whether or not there is a significant effect of environment on the employees’ job satisfaction with organizational culture as mediating factor in PT. TELKOM Solo. This study was a quantitative research with questionnaire being the instrument of collecting data. About 100 respondents were employed in this study, constituting the employees of PT. TELKOM Solo. Data analysis was conducted using Path Analysis with SPSS program. The result of research showed that work environment and organizational culture affected positively the employees’ job satisfaction, so that the better the work environment and the organizational culture the employees feel, the higher is the job satisfaction of employees in PT. Telkom Solo. Thus, it can be concluded that work environment and organizational culture affected the employees’ job satisfaction significantly and positively.
