The Effects of the Influence of Climatic Factors on the Average Yields of Wheat Varieties. An Evaluation in the Brăila Experimental Field, Romania

Abstract:

The food that satisfies the consumer's requirements economically and nutritionally is wheat flour bread. The average production of crops is largely determined by the quality of the seeds to be sown and the climatic conditions in the area. Knowing the production results and the productivity elements obtained according to the climatic factors at SCDA Brăila is important for judicious zoning of them in the region, but also to specify the place they must occupy in the structure of varieties for each area. Climatic conditions also have a very important influence on production, as well as the dependencies between the average productions of the 3 varieties of wheat under the conditions of Brăila. This aspect confirms the fact that between them there are differences in sensitivity from the point of view of productive potential and that they were judiciously chosen for the experiment. Calculating the dependence of the studied factors in achieving wheat production, by reporting the average production per ha correlated with each factor, resulted that the air temperature and precipitation having the greatest influence (figure 1). Other types of interactions result from the correlation of factors, which means that the experiments were rigorously executed.
