The Effects of the Internal Environment in Relation to the Commitment Demonstrated by Employees in Privatised Public-Sector Firms

Abstract:

There are a number of elements that are recognised as having the potential to influence and enhance the job dedication shown by employees in firms, such as organisational culture, management information systems, and reward systems. This work will highlight the extent to which privatised organisations operating in Jordan can influence the job commitment of employees from the perspective of the firm’s internal setting, which will be achieved through determining a conceptual framework in order to consider the effects on the target variables. Through distributing a questionnaire amongst a sample of accepted subjects, which notably comprise staff from privatised public-sector firms, a valuable volume of data has been gathered, which has undergone analysis so as to provide insight into the effects of the internal setting on employees’ job dedication.
