Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the effectiveness of the distribution of goods in the service sector due to the choice of vehicles to serve urban freight routes. On the basis of the initial data and limitations, a simulation of the process of transporting goods in the service sector was carried out. Under the service sector are invited to understand the business of trade, food and recreation. After, the dependences of the change in transportation costs were determined depending on the parameters of the process of transportation of goods in the simulated system. The next step was to identify patterns of changes in total transportation costs, depending on the carrying capacity of vehicles and delivery volumes. Basis obtained results, the dependence of the optimum load capacity of the vehicle on the delivery quantity at the services sector depots was determined. A statistical model of dependence of optimum vehicle’s load capacity on the delivery quantity in the services sector depots has been obtained. Results assessment indicates about sufficiently high information capacity of obtained model in urban sphere and ability to used in applied calculations. The online schedules and motor park optimization can be as result.
