Abstract:
Organizational learning is a dynamic process through which businesses improve their performance. In this paper, open innovation progresses are as a set of development procedures that are dynamically related to learning society and creative environment. An integrated organizational approach towards learning and knowledge sharing creates the right environment for creativity and enables the business to convert an opportunity into an innovation. Open innovation, however, consists of three different subsets that are categorized into three main core processes (inside-out, coupled and outside-in). Advancement in these processes entails exploitation, retention and exploration of external knowledge while undertaking business operations. The paper discusses the effectiveness of organizational learning in open innovation procedures and concludes with a synopsis of organizational dynamics with collaborative environment and their enabling role on open innovation processes.
