Abstract:

Environmental safety is a vitally important issue that should be taken into account during human economic activities, including road transport. The objective of the article is to present the threats related to the harmfulness of pollution and noise emissions caused by road transport. An attempt was made to indicate pro-environmental solutions within the transport policy in Poland and the entire European Union.
