The General Frame of e-Commerce Strategy in Romania in the WTO Institutional Context

Abstract:

It is described the electronic commerce institutionalization process in the frame of WTO (Word Trade Organization), all problems still unsettled and the electronic commerce liberalization in the frame of WTO. After a brief overview of the online commerce development today in world as well as its characteristics, starting from the legislative framework it is described the actual situation of e-commerce in Romania, through the development of the Internet and showing some relevant data regarding to the online commerce on the 2008.The paper is finished with some features that set the general framework of e-commerce strategy for Romania in the near future and the measures to achieve it.
