The Impact of a Multinational Company on Social Communities for Sustainable Development

Abstract:

The concept of sustainable development nowadays has a wide use in all areas and needs be applied in order to meet basic material needs in order to provide resources for optimizing the quality of life in health and education. Sustainable development is a complex process whose metric implies a system of common indicators but also varies from one country to another. The human resource is considered the most important, the only one able to attract, combine and use the other resources needed by a company to achieve its goals.In the present paper, I was trying to describe how sustainable development is applied in a multinational automotive company in Romania, Braila city, where a significant number of people come from both rural and urban areas and the impact on the social community in which are part of it. In the elaboration of the paper we took into account several key factors such as: the number of employees of the factory, their origin, average age, social and economic perspectives.
