Abstract:
Initially, it was believed that Corporate Social Responsibility was the domain of large enterprises, which, with the necessary financial resources, could perform actions that fit into this concept. However, for a long time, there is a perception that even micro and small companies are capable of carrying out activities in line with the CSR policy. It can, therefore, be said that for a long time, Corporate Social Responsibility can present in any company which would like to be perceived as the one who is socially responsible. This article, however, does not concentrate on companies that use CSR but on its employees instead. The main purpose of this article is to attempt to understand the impact of the CSR concept and its initiatives on the attitudes and behaviour of company’s employees. In order to fulfill this goal, the research among employees have been conducted, to check how familiar are they with this concept and what attitude they adopt towards actions, consistent with CSR assumptions, and performed by their workplace (company). The conclusions drawn from the conducted research showed that CSR concept is no longer a something new, and not only managers and directors, but also employees are aware of it. The obtained results simply show that CSR concept has a practical dimension and it is not the conception which "looks nice on paper only".
