The Impact of Going to the Economy based upon Knowledge on Leadership

Abstract:

For the realization of this paper I have considered the impact of the economy based on knowledge on the organization and the changes that take place within it, I have reviewed the characteristics of this type of organization and I have focused on the importance of the internal and the external human resources, on the relations with them in the knowledge based organization and the role of the leader in their administration, preservation and development. Also, in order to succeed in this dynamic environment, given by the tendency of switching over to the knowledge based economy, their leaders are confronted with the challenge of transforming the companies they are managing into flexible systems, capable of continuous learning and adjustment. Given the fact that the knowledge based organization differs substantially from the traditional one, I consider important the role of the leadership in this passage.
