Abstract:
The article is focused on an analysis of the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its impact on the economic growth in Czech Republic regions. The author's aim is to decide whether ICT affects the economy of the Czech Republic to a significant extent. To obtain relevant responses the authors used the analysis of descriptive statistics and statistical analyses including cluster analysis of data. Proposed and subsequently applied was a special indicator in statistical analysis for the evaluation of ICT level in Czech Republic regions. For data analysis we used a specialized program Statistica 9.
